When Cadbury announced that they were releasing a number of limited edition white chocolate Creme Eggs, everyone went wild.
And not just because white chocolate is obviously the best chocolate.
No, it was because each egg came with the promise of LOTS OF FREE CASH.
In fact, there were reports of shop staff rifling through stacks of Creme Eggs in a bid to find the golden tickets before any customers had the chance to.
And for a few weeks, no one had any luck.
Nursery manager, Natasha Bream has become the first person to find one of the white Creme Eggs, scooping a grand in the process.
The 30-year-old from Luton bought three eggs on her lunch break and was stunned to find that she was actually the recipient of one of the prize chocolates.
‘I was a bit shocked – I couldn’t quite believe it,’ she tells The Sun.
‘I’d been talking to my assistant (about the hunt) before going to the shops. I didn’t think it would happen to me.’
Natasha immediately phoned the helpline number on the inside of the wrapper and found that she’d got one of the 34 eggs worth £1,000.
Oddly, she hasn’t actually eaten the egg yet.
But no doubt once she’s received her cash, she’ll toast her winnings by eating her golden egg.
In case you missed it, Cadbury’s released 371 white chocolate Creme Eggs on 3 January and all of them come with cash prizes of up to £2,000.
There’s only one £2k prize and 33 remaining eggs worth £1,000, and the rest are worth smaller amounts.
The eggs will be available until 1 April.
So, best get hunting!
