A man in his 40s has been arrested after a stabbing incident in Bergen on Tuesday. Two people were slightly injured in the incident.
The police were notified about the stabbing at 10:30 PM. The incident took place in an apartment on Løvstakksiden.
“Two people, a man and a woman, have the status of victims,” operations manager Eirik Loftesnes in the Western Police District told the newspaper Bergensavisen.
The injured man was treated by ambulance personnel, while the woman was taken to the emergency room with cuts. Both are described as lightly injured.
Around midnight, the police arrested a man in his 40s, the newspaper Bergens Tidende reports, adding that the three people involved knew each other from earlier.
